These 3 German machines form a trio of rivals that compete in the most technologically advanced, luxurious sector of them all – what’s known in the business as the ‘F-segment’, and the A8 lease is their biggest threat.
This part of the car market is for full-size luxury cars, big, bold, hugely luxurious and jam-packed with technology and gadgets. This side of Rolls-Royce and Bentley, there’s little that can match it.
Currently, just two engines are offered on a Audi A8 lease deal, but both are exceptional in their own right. The diesel option is likely to prove the most popular across all our Audi A8 car leasing deals, and it’s the smooth and strong performing 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel that features in a few other cars across the Audi range. It’s capable of getting the A8 to 62mph in under 6-seconds. For the petrol option there’s another 3.0-litre V6. While it may have higher power, it doesn’t improve much on performance and will be more expensive to run. Audi has historically added further engines to the A8 range, so it’s likely we’ll see a hybrid and performance version of this luxury saloon at some point in the future.
