The Audi Q7 SUV has been with us since 2006, and was actually Audi’s first SUV, and since then the Bavarian automaker has produced many more - the Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, and even a Q8 have all joined the now well-established Q sub brand.
Our current generation of Audi Q7 SUV offered here at Synergy on both business and personal lease agreements is a major rival for some of the hottest SUVs on the car lease market. Think Volvo XC90, BMW X5, the Range Rover, and the Mercedes-Benz GLE, and you’ll also think Audi Q7 SUV, and the proud Audi is perfectly capable of going toe-to-toe (or perhaps bumper-to-bumper) with any of them. With its huge interior space and supremely well executed and luxurious fit and finish, it’s incredibly desirable and ticks a lot of boxes for people looking for an SUV of this size.
The Audi Q7 SUV has space for up to 7 occupants thanks to its third row of seats. That row and the second row are actually flexible, allowing you to drastically expand the cargo capacity of the SUV on demand. With everything folded down, there’s actually a massive 2,050-litres of carrying capacity to use. In the e-tron model, this is reduced slightly as the vehicle’s batteries are stored in the floor.
Audi makes use of diesel, petrol, and plug-in hybrid power sources within the Q7 SUV. The most popular engine tends to be a variant of the 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, which, even in its least powerful form, can still allow the Q7 SUV to complete a 0-62mph in around 7-seconds. Power seekers will want to inquire with Synergy about the hot SQ7 variant however, which boasts 500bhp from a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 petrol engine. All Audi Q7 SUV models across its 4 trim levels come as default with an automatic gearbox and Audi’s famous quattro all-wheel drive system which improves road holding and acceleration - particularly in challenging conditions.
