We’ve had Citroen Relay lease deals here in the UK since the early 1990’s and it’s the most capable light commercial-vehicle in the Citroen family. Available in a variety of body styles, lengths and heights, the Relay has been a very successful commercial vehicle for quite some time now.
There are a number of different variations of Citroen Relay van leasing deals available, which include the standard panel van, window van, tipper van, luton van and drop side versions. Thanks to this, the Citroen Relay lease is a van ready for all sorts of jobs. Wheelbases vary from 3 to 4.04m in length, with heights between 1.6 to 2.1m. Load volume ranges from 8m3 to 17m3, and the load width between the wheels (1.42m) and between partitions (1.87m) is the best in class.
The current generation of Citroen Relay van lease deals arrived in 2014, but was updated in 2017 with the latest EURO6-compliant engines. There's a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel badged ‘BlueHDi’ available with 109, 128 or 147bhp outputs and capability for over 45mpg. All standard engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox and the 128bhp version comes with stop/start engine technology to help save fuel.
More recently, Citroen have introduced an all-electric version of the Citroen Relay lease. It showcases a 75kWh battery, which has a WLTP range of 154 miles.
Citroen is very keen on offering useful equipment in its commercial vehicles and so the Citroen Relay leasing has a decent level of equipment across its range. Intelligent traction control with a very useful hill descent control system, hill start assist, an adaptive load control feature that is supposed to increase the effectiveness of ESP when the van is loaded, cruise control with speed limiting function, lane departure warning system and a tyre deflation warning system. In the cabin, the seating is comfortable and supportive and there’s 13 different storage locations around it to place items. DAB radio, Bluetooth and further infotainment features are contained within a 5-inch touchscreen system.
