Citroen has made it very clear recently that it wants to become a brand known for its comfort. The French giant believes cars have become too focused on cornering and engaging handling and that many car buyers actually desire something different – a comfortable, composed riding car.

The ‘C’ prefix has been used on Citroen models since the 1930’s, and the new SUV has inherited the C5 designation along with Citroen’s ‘Aircross’ branding that denotes an SUV.
