The Fiat Fiorino lease is compact commercial vehicle designed with small, urban jobs in mind.
Named after a famous old Florentine coin, the little Fiat Fiorino has been delivering its loads since 1977 all across the world, from the cobbled streets of Rome all the way to the crowded, narrow streets of Sao Paolo.
The Fiat Fiorino van lease is now into its third generation and was last updated in 2016. During its time, it’s also appeared as a Peugeot and a Citroen as part of the commercial vehicle partnership between PSA Group (the company behind the two French marques) and Fiat. Available as a small van, the Fiorino has a load capacity of 660kg and a load volume of 2.8m³ and it’s clear that Fiat had smaller, more urban environments in mind when designing this particular vehicle.
Power for the Fiorino comes with a 1.3-litre turbocharged ‘Multijet’ engine, balancing a strong output and impressive efficiency. It’s available with 79 or 94bhp and on a combined cycle it is capable of a touch over 72mpg with the optional ‘Ecojet’ pack that adds start/stop technology, smart alternator management, a variable pressure oil pump and low friction oil. With a turning circle of just under 10-metres, it’s also very easy to get around tight spaces and drives much like a small hatchback in character.
All Fiorino models get ABS, a Driver’s air bag, a ladder bulkhead, ESC, remote control central locking, a cabin area floor cover, a radio MP3 player and a driver’s seat with lumbar support adjustment as standard. There are higher levels of trim – ‘SX’, ‘Adventure’ and ‘Tecnico’ that add different features such as a 5-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, navigation and Bluetooth. A range of fairly bright colours are also available, which is something a little different in the commercial vehicle range.
