Jaguar F-Type Convertible Business & Personal Car Leasing Offers
To really explain the Jaguar F-Type convertible, we have to go all the way back to the 1960s, and actually, all the way back to a man called Enzo Ferrari. Yes, that Enzo Ferrari. When the founder of Ferrari first saw the Jaguar E-Type 60 or so years ago, he proclaimed it to be the most beautiful car he’d ever seen. Well, back in 2012, Jaguar decided it should follow up the famous E-Type, launching what it describes as a spiritual successor, the Jaguar F-Type. This is that car, refreshed in 2019, and with a convertible body. It is jaw-droppingly beautiful.
What we have here is a two-door convertible with a fabric roof. The design is one of the sleekest on the entire market, the envy of many a marque, and a true timeless beauty. It’s a sports car, so it is designed to be driven quickly and passionately, although it functions just as well as a Grand Tourer, covering ground across a continent in style and comfort. You’ll see plenty of these disembarking from the EuroTunnel trains in the summer, that’s for sure.
This facelifted version of the F-Type convertible was first revealed back in December 2019, and although it had a substantial update to its exterior design, the designers and engineers over at Jaguar also focused heavily on technology. New LED headlights, wheels, an infotainment system, and a fancy digital instrument cluster were all installed, and sadly for some, the V6 engine was also discontinued in the UK market. Still, the one engine UK customers were most passionate about remained - the stunning 5.0-litre supercharged V8.
The supercharged V8 is a dramatic, theatrical engine which boasts a whopping 575 horsepower, making it good for a 0-62mph sprint in a total time of just 3.7-seconds, going all the way up top to a dizzying 186mph. This big cat is a real weapon, and it growls just as well as it goes. If that’s a little too much for you though, never fear. Jaguar also provides a non-supercharged version of the same engine, as well as a more economically focused 2.0-litre turbocharged unit. That smaller engine reduces the vehicle weight considerably, as well as still providing fast pace.
Cars like this are the stuff we put on the wall when we are kids. The beauty and power of the Jaguar F-Type convertible is a sight to behold. You can lease one from Synergy on both business and personal lease agreements. Excited? You should be!
