Mazda, in our opinion, is one of the more underrated car brands currently available to lease here at Synergy. In recent years, the Japanese company has put out some truly excellent cars that had a combination of winning elements. A cool design? Tick. Impressive powertrains? Tick. Luxurious, well-built interiors? Also tick. Mazda has been on fire over the last 5 years or so, and now the brand is introducing its first plug-in hybrid vehicle - the new Mazda CX-60 lease deals in the UK.
Some pretty big claims have come out of the PR mouthpieces from Mazda over this vehicle, the most noticeable perhaps being that it “...represents everything that Mazda has built into its DNA over the last 100 years.” That’s bold, but you can also see an element of truth in it too. Mazda’s design team had once again smacked the ball clean out of the ground with the looks, it’s a beautifully proportioned car that looks good up against pretty much any other SUV on the road. We mentioned the plug-in hybrid powertrain in the intro there, and this model is known as the ‘E-Skyactiv’. It offers up to 39-miles of electric-only travel from its 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, which, combined with its electric motor, gives the driver 323bhp to play with. It’s also all-wheel drive and so should be quite capable at holding its grip in challenging winter conditions. An 8-speed automatic is provided across the three trim levels; there's no option for a manual here, as is the case with many hybrid vehicles.
