You probably already know all about the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class Saloon. After all, the hatchback version of this car created a real buzz when it was revealed back in 2018, with its radical new interior design and luxury trim. The Mercedes-Benz A-Class already appeals to a wide range of people and with its new saloon body style, it attracts even more attention from Synergy customers.
This new Mercedes A-Class saloon is one of 2 models that make up the new 4th generation of the Mercedes A-Class name. It features the same luxury construction and eye catching but subtle exterior design that the hatchback does, but in a special compact saloon shape with fantastic proportions. Despite its size, this is a true Mercedes-Benz, no compromise has been made on the quality of the product and the Mercedes A-Class Saloon feels very much like a ‘baby’ version of the famous Mercedes C Class or E Class cars.
More often than not, the exterior design is what attracts people to a car initially by catching the eye, but it’s the interior that makes them fall in love. The Mercedes A-Class saloon has a completely new design inside that Mercedes-Benz has described as ‘modern, avant-garde’, and the minimalist, clean and elegant overall layout feels truly special. 2 large digital displays dominate the dashboard and give information read outs as well as form the display for the infotainment system, which is equipped with technology of the same standards as you’d find on even the flagship Mercedes-Benz models.
Synergy customers can have a choice of either petrol or diesel to power their Mercedes A-Class saloon, with just one diesel currently available – the Mercedes A Class saloon A180d. It’s a 114bhp 4-cylinder turbo built with efficiency in mind, which makes it easy to recommend for Synergy customers with higher mileage requirements. In the petrol models, there’s a choice of a 160 or 221bhp engine, with 6-speed manual gearboxes provided as standard, though there is also the option of a 7-speed automatic for those who prefer a more relaxed driving experience.
If power and performance is your cup of tea, you’ll be pleased to know you can own a Mercedes A-Class saloon AMG, called the Mercedes A Class saloon A35 AMG. This performance model comes with ‘4MATIC’ all-wheel drive as standard for maximum grip and cornering potential and is one of the most desirable compact saloons on UK roads.
The Mercedes-Benz A Class Saloon Sport includes alloy wheels, black leather interior and sports steering wheel, while the Mercedes-Benz A Class Saloon AMG Line also features a chrome front splitter, eye-catching exhaust pipes, 18” 5 twin spoke alloy wheels and multi-function sports steering wheel.
