Electric vehicles are the future, and Mercedes-Benz has been working hard to offer a full range of electric cars, all as part of the brand’s plans to be a fully-electric vehicle manufacturer by the beginning of the next decade. We’ve seen the EQB, EQC, EQA, EQS, and there’s more on the way, but what we have here is the EQE, the electric-powered equivalent of one of the firm’s most celebrated models - the E-Class.
Mercedes-Benz EQE leasing is, of course, powered by an electric battery. That battery is a 90kWh unit with a stunning range of around 410-miles (which is, at the time of writing, further than you can go in a Tesla Model S) with its power sent to the wheels via two electric motors. The power output is in the region of a beefy 290bhp too, so you can expect some very brisk acceleration from this luxury saloon, aided by its instantaneous 391Ib ft of torque. In terms of charging, 10-80% should be achievable in around 35 minutes when using a 100kW charging station too.
As an electrified version of an E-Class, there’s obviously a lot of expectation on this car. It’s got some stiff competition too, BMW’s newly released i4 is another gorgeous luxury saloon powered by electric, but the Mercedes-Benz EQE lease has something quite special in its cockpit - the hyperscreen.

The hyperscreen is a stunning new piece of infotainment, an infotainment system spanning the full width of the dashboard, where even the front-seat passenger gets the ability to look through his or her own options in the car. Mercedes has also said over the air updates will be available for this vehicle too, giving new driving modes and options within the car for greater flexibility for users.
Of course, the cabin itself is a wonderful place to spend time as either a passenger or driver, with the usual above and beyond build quality standards of Mercedes-Benz very much on display. The exterior design itself is also an evolution of the E-Class formula and silhouette, evoking familiarity overall, yet clearly hinting at the next generation and the future of personal transport.
