Posted 2 years agoToyota has always been the sensible, freshly ironed and buttoned-up shirt-wearing one among the world’s leading car manufacturers. The last few years have seen the Japanese giant branching out and embracing it’s more creative, risky side. We’ve seen new sports cars, we’ve seen edgier designs, and now we’ve seen the Toyota Aygo X lease offers, the new chunky crossover based on the popular Aygo city car.
Being a form of the Aygo, the Aygo X is a car with a very small footprint, perfect for urban life and inner-city parking spaces which are, as we all know, a bit on the tiny side. Despite the small footprint, the Aygo X car lease is a tough looking little machine though, in the new Cardamom Green Metallic paint scheme, it looks like it’s dressed up to go paintballing. A military dress on a tiny city car takes a bit of getting used to, but it’s undeniably fun and a drastic departure from many city cars seen in and around the middle of town. According to Toyota, the Aygo X leasing deals designers wanted to bring “...a sense of daring and spice to Europe’s compact car market.” - mission accomplished, we’d say.
Aside from the chunkier styling and raised height, Toyota has also carried out some work to address one of the bigger criticisms of the standard Aygo - it’s storage space. Cargo capacity on the lease Aygo X has now been increased by 60-litres, up to a total 231-litres, plenty more room for shopping, recycling centre runs, perhaps even a few packs of paintballs. This car is a great option for our customers and it is available on either a Toyota Aygo X personal leasing agreement as well as a Toyota Aygo X business lease agreement.
Returning to power the Aygo X is Toyota’s 3-cylinder engine. At 1.0-litre in capacity it’s a pretty small unit but has the potential to return an impressive 60mpg. Its power output is 71bhp, which is just about what anybody needs for nipping in and around urban environments, primarily where this car will be driven. Depending on the choice of the customer, a 5-speed manual gearbox or an automatic box are available as transmission choices on all trim levels.
